94th Annual General Meeting of Carey College Old Boys' Union is scheduled to take place on 4th July 2026, 4.00PM at the College Hall.

The Carey College Old Boys' Union was pleased to present the
first personalised Carey OBU Mug to Mr. Saleem, Vice President of OBU and
Proprietor of Milky Textiles, at his Business premises, in recognition of his
generous contribution towards the development of Carey Sports
As a gesture of goodwill and commitment to the development
of our alma mater, Mr. Saleem made a donation of Rs. 10,000 towards this
initiative. The cost of a Mug is only 1000/-
The presentation was made by Mr. Mervyn Ponniah, President
of the Carey College OBU, who expressed the Union's appreciation for Mr.
Saleem's continued support and dedication to the advancement of Carey College.

Carey Lounge a brainchild project of Dr. Thomas Benjamin Jeganathan Principal of Carey College. A skill centre with state of the art facilities and other amenities with a seating capacity of 50 chairs for the betterment of students, Teacher's and OBU members.
The whole project was undertaken by the Carey College OBU under the leadership of its President Mr. Mervyn Ponniah and entirely sponsored by a distinguished old boy Mr. RPM Zalmy and Edinborough Products Pvt. Ltd.
During today’s school assembly, Carey College celebrated a remarkable achievement in sports. Principal Dr. Thomas Benjamin Jeganathan formally recognized our Silver Medalist from the highly competitive LV Jayaweera Boxing Championship.
The special recognition ceremony was attended by the Carey Boxing representatives, From L-R Mr. Rajitha Liyanage (Coach) Mr. BSJ Perera, Mr. Saman Mangala, Mr. Saman Jayalal Costa and Mr. Camen Mapatuna. This victory stands as a testament to the dedication of our student-athletes and the continuous development of the college's boxing program under Mr. Costa & Mr. Mapatuna's leadership. Congratulations to the team for bringing honour to the school!
