The OBU of Carey College donated TT tables, coinciding with the Inter House TT championship 2024, Tables were handed over to the Principal Rev. Heshan de Silva
The OBU President Mervyn Ponniah also addressed the gathering, Mervyn reiterated the commitment of OBU and requested the school administration to accommodate certain advisory committees to be setup to oversee school's extra-curricular activities such as sports.
Explained the future road map for the College academic area, he emphasised his desire to implement the London OL's and AL's at Carey shortly.

The OBU invited the New Principal and the Deputy Principal for the monthly committee meeting held in February 2024. 'The way forward' was discussed and both new appointees addressed the members present.
OBU President Mr. Mervyn Ponniah delivered the vote of thanks at the Carey College Prize Giving 2023 held at the College Hall premises on 28th June 2024.
The occasion was graced by Rev. Christopher Balraj, former principal of St Thomas' College, Bandarawela and his wife Lady Juliana Balraj.
The spectacular event was the results of staff and student's hard work that the event and the school came in for high praise from the chief guest Rev. Christopher Balraj.
OBU was represented at the event with exco members gracing the occasion.
